Rising Sun Workshop and Clara Green

Rising Sun Workshop and Clara Green

Rising Sun Workshop describes itself as a communal motorcycle workspace with a ramen inspired restaurant. This is a no bullshit description of what they do.

According to Adrian, if they can't make it themselves, they get it locally from roasters, smokers, brewers, growers, winemakers, distillers and environmentally responsible cleaning product manufacturers who share their philosophy. Hey! That last category is us!

OK, OK, I can hear you asking: "What products do Rising Sun use to keep their restaurant clean and green?"

I'll tell you. They use the following food grade cleaning products:

  • Healtheclean E2 Heavy Duty Degreaser Concentrate (with 8ml dispensing pump and 500ml spray bottles)
  • Healtheclean E14 pH Neutral All Purpose Cleaner Concentrate (with 8ml dispensing pump and 500ml spray bottles)
  • Healtheclean E12 Aloe Hand & Body Wash
  • Healtheclean E69 Manual Dish Detergent
  • Jasol EC2 No Rinse Sanitiser (with 3ml dispensing pump and labelled spray bottle)
  • Jasol EC13 Automatic Feed Warewashing Detergent
  • Jasol EC14 Automatic Feed Warewashing Rinse Aid

Every single one of these products have been certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia as an environmentally preferable product. And they are really good at saving their plastic bottles and returning them to us. So you know that when Rising Sun Workshop says they run an environmentally ethical business, they really do.

Rising Sun Workshop is at 1c Whateley St Newtown. Check out their menu at www.risingsunworkshop.com. They got a Good Food Hat last year!
