OK, OK, you've convinced me. I love it. But how do I use it?

This Glass and Mirror Cleaner is supplied as a concentrate. This gives you heaps of flexibility in the way you use it, but for most glass cleaning you'll only need to add 15ml of concentrate to 485ml of water. You now have 500ml of ready to use Glass and Mirror cleaner.

I know right? One 500ml bottle of Glass and Mirror Cleaner concentrate will fill a 500ml spray bottle 32 times. Good for your wallet and bad for packaging manufacturers. And Supermarkets. And transport operators. Hah!

Where is it made?

And it is locally made. Here in Sydney. Not in Europe. Or New Zealand. Or the United States.

What size are these bottles?

This Glass and Mirror Cleaner Concentrate is available in 500ml and 5L bottles.

Why is the packaging on the 500ml bottles so unusual?

There's a bit of a story behind this, but this is what you need to know:

The 500ml bottles are readily recyclable PET. We wanted to be sure that they could actually be recycled if they went into your recycling bin, so we asked some basic questions about the type of labels and adhesives we could use to ensure this would happen. We didn't get a single useful answer. So we threw up our hands and made labels that could be reused, without glue.

Each product comes with two labels: a coloured silicone band and a polypropylene neck tag.

The coloured silicone band is designed to be used over and over again. The Glass and Mirror Cleaner Concentrate comes with a sky blue band. This band fits our 500ml blank spray bottle but is flexible enough to fit a range of spray bottles so you are not forced to buy a new bottle when you start using this product.

The neck tag is not readily recyclable, but is designed to be reused. It is made out of Polypropylene. It is designed to stay on the neck of the concentrated product so that you always know what is in the bottle, and so that you have easy access to usage instructions. When you have used up all your product, remove this label. Turn it over. On the back is a postage paid address that you can use to return this label to the manufacturer for reuse.

The bottle itself can go into your council recycling bin.
